Bruce Castle Museum Tottenham
Bruce Castle Museum in Tottenham North London staged an exhibition of Johns paintings in 2008 described on the Harringey Website: " A unique portrait of Haringey through the late 1960s and 1970s by local artist John Godden (1930-1999) is now on view at Haringey Council's Bruce Castle Museum. The current show reflects Godden's view that man-made landscapes were as important and interesting as natural scenes. His work explores the links and contrasts between urban settlement, industrial sites and the rural scenes on their outskirts. Bruce Castle Museum is a fantastic treasure trove for anyone interested in the history of our borough. I urge all residents to take a look."
